Climbing Team

Ever since a childhood climb to the top of a sandy pinnacle in central Washington, climbing has directed my motion through life. The foundation for my love for climbing is nature. A perfect ridge, a splitter crack, or a shiny runnel surrounded by granite are all elements of nature’s tapestry. To find myself moving through these places with some sort of grace, makes me feel part of a beautiful scene, if only for a moment.
My favorite routes reflect climbing’s diversity, requiring strong skills in different disciplines. I love all forms of climbing from bouldering to alpinism, so it’s only natural I find pleasure in lines that have a bit of everything on them.

Once I’ve gained one summit, my mind embraces the next challenge. It is a never ending journey and I am happy to be on it.
